KASS Model R300 Rotary Chipless Trim System The KASS model R300 Rotary Chipless Trim System is the answer for neck finishing of containers that are not suited for spin trimming - containers of odd sizes and shapes, containers with especially thick walls, or containers which must remain stationary and not rotated during the trimming process. R300 systems are completely modular by nature and can be incorporated into almost any existing line, or combined with other KASS equipment such as DF400-series deflashers. Our rotary trim systems utilize a unique process which eliminates contamination from chips and debris, making it suitable for food-grade production or any other application which requires a completely debris-free trim. R300 systems are available that can handle any neck finishing need, from cost-effective single-station units through completely automatic 8-head machines which provide high-speed, smooth and secure handling of containers throughout the trim process. Bottles are precisely held in position during the finishing operation with custom-machined tooling.
